Either the Dems are on a suicide march or are implementing some cunning long-term strategy,

Actually it is pretty cunning.

1. Stuff the ballot boxes by allowing huge increases in immigration from cultures that believe in government supplying free healthcare and food stamps. They overwhelming vote Democratic. (Legal immigration is over 1 million per year).

2. Do little to stop illegal immigration.

3. Implement immigration "reform" which involves giving amnesty to 15 million illegal aliens and providing them citizenship and voting rights. They overwhelming vote Democratic.

4. Allow family reunification for the 15 million new citizens so that each one will bring in a dozen family members who expect free health care and food stamps. They overwhelming vote Democratic.

5. Call anyone who opposes the above a racist.

Their plan has been working very well. The last election results are a pretty good indication that the plan is working well.
