Because I don't believe things are as simple as right and wrong. I don't believe the GOP is wrong and the Dems are right. Instead, I believe that the GOP has some darn good ideas, some of which they failed to execute properly under Bush. In addition, I think the Dems have some darn good ideas, like health care reform, but which they are failing to execute on properly under Obama.

If you think that the choice between GOP and Dem is a choice between right and wrong or good and evil, then you are falling into the same trap as 80% of Americans. That is all bullshit. What's really going on is we have a competition for ideas and a competition to find qualified people to execute properly and implement those ideas. We are all Americans who think we have the right ideas to do what is best of this country. If we don't figure out how to stop vilifying someone because they have a different idea of how to get to the same end goal, then we are sunk as a country.

That's what a true centrist believes.
