Marty, How will 112 Kbps "carry digital video to the home"? I'm aware of recent improvements in digital compression but 112 Kbps still is too narrow a pipe for NTSC quality video.

If you want digital video, call up your local DBS system and order a dish. Also, according to this month's issue of Video Magazine, several satellite companies will be offering Dolby audio in the first quarter of 1998 and full HDTV video later in the year.
