Cell phones will be more used than landlines. People bored will watch movies and listen to songs via the cell phone. The 4M pixel cell camera debuts.
The camera easily exceeded 4m. The cell phone ipod came w the new chips. I think there are more cells than landlines.

HDTV is the normal. Prices for sets drop to $600.
I am not sure it is the normal, but sells more than non HD now. Sets are more like $800

Computers will be allowed to click any TV show and watch it despite network TV protests. File sharing of shows without the ads further enrage the market executives.
surfthechannel.com certainly allwed millions to watch cable shows w/o paying.

Satellite radio merges with cell phones for a small monthly fee. Free radio ads suffer dramatically.

Not quite $6. Hybrid are only starting to get popular. $100 tank fillups do occur due to large tanks

GM, Ford, and Chrysler all emerge out of bankruptcy with new models. Most domestic automaking is contracted out.
Ford did not go bankrupt. the others did in 2008. Toyota is #1 seller now.

Video cameras are installed at many workplaces recording theft, vandalism, and just plain laziness. Construction sites install them to catch fraudulent accident reporting.
