They all use the scientific method. You really think top universities hire professors that do not use the scientific method??

Any university that allows its scientists to hide their data so their results cannot be reproduced is not using the scientific method. The Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia has not been using the scientific method. They refused to release their data even after many FOIA requests for it.

So, no, they don't all use the scientific method. Some of them say, "Trust me, I'm using the scientific method but just in private between me and my buddies." That is not the true scientific method, any more than embezzling is accounting.
