Money seeking assets will dry up as used up by baby boomers.

Consider Germany:

Siemens had a lot of money, the savings of its employees waiting to retire.

That money was used it to project finance and keep the industry humming along.

As they start retiring and early retiring, the pool of money dried up. Siemens if needed to project finance has to go to the banks.

China today act as Germnay has acted in the past. Using people's savings to finance project.

Anyway or another Elmat is there taking his share of it. In the next decade the pool of money will be spent as old folks retire.

Even if it is in the form of gold, it will be spent.
