Still working on the 2010 list...

Last year's list had these:

Alexis Minerals
Allied Nevada
Apollo Gold
ATW Gold
Avion Gold
B2Gold
Claude Resources
Gold-Ore Res
Richmont Mines
Endeavor Silver

Best on that list is AVR.v, BTO.to and EXK. [I still own all three in LT accts] I like RIC now that it has new blood and GOZ.v looks OK too. CGR, eh. ATW - needs a rebirth - gotta be something better out there. ANV is over priced imho and facing dilution to build a sulfide plant. Think $$$. AGT can't get past a tonne of options and AMC.to is a slow grind.

On the second list, I pounded the table on Castle Gold and I think a couple followed me. I git weary of the wait and bailed at a small profit - anyone who held through the buyout made a nice double.

Problem I am finding in my review is - very few "high grade" deposits out there (>5 gpt) and I am concerned with the economics if inflation kicks in. Remember we saw a bunch of miners loose their profitability as margins got pinched when rubber, fuel and steel went through the roof. That happens again and the "marginal" producers will get squeezed again.

Looking at any potential plays for 2010?
