For one, the convictions were overturned because the Bush DOJ seemed to be unable to charge a Republican without committing many procedural errors. Despite that, he still was convicted on his retrial.

Actually, you're making this out to be a "technicality", when the three-judge panel actually HELD it might have altered the outcome had the expert testimony been allowed as required, and they even went into detail considering what the nature of the expert testimony would have been.

As to the "retrial", as I understand it he was convicted for LESS than what Clinton did when he lied under oath (this guy apparently failed to adequately disclose his relationship with a third party).

If this is the best you've got, please. Get over it.
