So you would defund 80% of the countries university research programs? Really? You want to do that?

You realize of course, that most of the inventions and scientific knowledge that we compete with China, India and the rest of the world's scientific technology comes from our universities.

And how would we form these review committees? Who would sit on them? What criteria would you use to judge what research is nonsensical and which is not?

And I suppose, stop all research on GW?

Wow - how about an open inquiry into the peer review process? How about equal funding? How about we simply drain the swamp and defund about 80% of research grants that only result in recommending more research ($)?

As you can tell I hold the whole GW "science" in contempt.
