We have 135 million accounts at IRS; so about 130 million jobs per year. Retired gets social security at 57 million strong. The rest of 300 million population are children not yet employable. This is rough order of magnitude.
Currently, government published 10.2% unemployment. Which should be close to 13.5 million unemployed. which means every one person in 20 you meet is unemployed. Where can you place them for employment? Government(6.5 million jobs total or 5%), financial institutions(2%), farms(2%), manufacturing firms(30%), service industry(30%), retail distribution(30%), etc(1%).
So, we are encouraging the food industry to pick up employment of worker in restaurants or fast food industry ($1 meals). More new products(lower cost affordable creates jobs) in retail distribution especially electronics but all other products too. Car manufacturing is back to sleek car design and fuel economical high performance turbo(aerodynamic) functions(small engines are cheaper). |
