My sons are all grown up and out of the house. My oldest is a Urologist, very easy going, reflective and extremely dedicated to his patients and family (two children). I manage their portfolio since he (and his physician wife) have little interest in the financial world. All they care about is medicine, their patients and family. My middle son just became a lawyer and works for my brother as an education lawyer. He defends teachers throughout NYS who have been brought up on charges by the school district. My middle son is very outgoing, intense, philosophical and a bohemian. My youngest is a senior in college, and a very nice blend of his two older brothers.

When they lived in our house, I had a plaque of Socrates placed in each of their rooms, with the saying, "the unexamined life is not worth living."

I expected and demanded high marks in school and that's what I got. No excuses, no BS.
