>>> Re SUF, not a chance Frank, just ask Jennings whether he likes the mineral chemistry & geology in Alberta.PS to have an operating mine you have to have good quality gems. Operating expenses are far from the issue at this point. <<<

John, not to go into much details, I personally know a few directors from different companies involved with diamond exploration. As for Jennings, he is doing very well and I did play SUF way back, should have kept the stock for a longer period but that is past me now. If a company offers Jennings a piece of the action for a price he likes, I can assure you, his hat will change and he will like the chemistry and geology of Alberta.

As for the operating expenses, my point was, when/if Ashton confirms quality gems and a feasibility report is written, the numbers to create and maintain a mine will cost less than any NWT companies. That is a fact! The quality of gems do not have to be as good as NWT.

I appreciate your comments so please continue to share your knowledge.

John, I have a few shares of MPV, hopes it does well.

IMHO, Diamond exploration will continue to be strong in 1998 and gold exploration will be weak.
