Here is a wine I did NOT like. 90+ Cellars Shiraz Viognier 2007, I paid $12. stewswinesct.com It has 14 percent alcohol, but gave this hot alcohol feeling in the back of your throat when you swallow it. That unpleasant experience dominated everything, so that I can't even tell you how it tasted. I've had even higher alcohol zins that didn't bite like this one. I tried it with lamb and the next day with a baked red sauce pasta, didn't like it with either.
