My Opthamologist told me if he is called in to the hospital in the middle of the night he gets 43 dollars from a medicare patient. That is NOW, not after they lower payments. He then joked you can get a plumber for that. I laughed, I said you can't get a plumber in the middle of the night for less than 100 dollars an hour and that is simply conservative.
