There is a difference between then and now-----Bush was not making an attempt to totally take over the lives of citizens from birth (if they were not killed via abortion) to grave.

Very few people even now have no idea what Part D is or was.

What Americans do know is that Obamacare/Pelosi care/ and Reid care is a move to Socialized Medicine that has been tried in other nations and failed.
