TD, The letter went to physicians on Friday, so WLA obviously has known about it for awhile. The magnitude of the problem is related to exactly who is having trouble. Rezulin has been around for quite some time, but its use in diabetics is probably much less. If the original users are developing problems, then it may have a signifiicant impact on WLA. If its only a handfull because many more patients are now taking the drug, then its probably much less of a problem. Rezulin is used at relatively high concentrations, and liver problems with high drug levels are not that ucommon since the liver is involved in clearing the drug.
