I wonder what, other than current market sentiment, makes you think that DELL is any less a commodity product than GTW?

Do you remember DELL a few years ago when people thought they would fail due to a disgraceful notebook computer initiative? They now have one of the best reviewed notebook lines in the business ( I happen to think they suck).

GTW has screwed up a little recently, but they also have some good projects going. I think the deal with Vtel will be well received in the corporate world, with everyone clamoring for videoconferencing.

I am long GTW, and although not risk free, the stock is way down from its highs, with excellant prospects for a rebound. DELL is at the top of its game, and must continue to grow at unheard of proportions to maintain its high P/E. CPQ is a cash cow, and should be a part of every good tech portfolio.

Just my opinion...
