He CLAIMED to know that there were "others like him" planning similar attacks. Maybe, maybe not. The only way we'll know is by seeing whether the attacks happen.

If he knew there were "others like him", he could likely have provided names and locations of some, which could have led to the collapse of the entire plan, if one exists.

I really recommend you learn something about this subject. The best known book on the subject, The Looming Tower, will give you some idea how this kind of intel is used.

Of course not. That doesn't mean he couldn't have valuable intel. He should properly interrogated, and the truth of the matter is that the CIA, not the FBI, would do a better job. And FBI is worthless once the guy lawyered up.
