I have reached the conclusion that the Zionists have absolutely no right in what they call Israel, that they have built their state not beside but on top of the Palestinian people, and that there can be no peace as long as contemporary Israel retains its present form.

Using those 5 premises NO PRESENT COUNTRY as the right to exist in "it's current form".

But somehow I think the Israelis think differently and are more than willing to defend their views.

His logic is definitely flawed, and not particularly "honest", IMO.

After all, Jews were in that land before Arabs. And Jews and Christians BOTH hold claims antecedent to Muslims with regard to the religious significance to the region.

I would be far more willing to grant the Palestinians equal status were it evident that they originated from a nation/state that previous existed, or that their own leadership considered themselves to be more Palestinian than they do Arab "brothers".

Palestinians do not consider themselves "unique", but part of the Arab nation. Here.. read it in their OWN CONSTITUTION:

Palestine is part of the Arab nation. The state of Palestine abides by the charter of the League of
Arab States. The Palestinian people are part of the Arab and Islamic nations. Arab unity is a goal, the Palestinian people hopes to achieve.

So they think of themselves as Arabs, not Palestinians.

Which means THEY DO NOT PERCEIVE THEMSELVES AS HAVING ORIGINATED FROM PALESTINE. FURTHERMORE, THEY SEEK TO UNIFY THEMSELVES TO THE REST OF THE ARAB NATION, NOT INDEPENDENCE.

Kind of difficult to assert the Palestinians want their independence when they are actively working to surrender it again to other Arab states.

Why not just let some other Arab state annex them?

Oh wait.. they've already gone that route.. ;0)
