"My wanting to know where you're coming from makes me an intolerant religionist? Seriously?

I don't consider what you have been doing to be legitimate inquiry. What you stated about me does not represent my opinion, I've never suggested it is my opinion, so you must have just made it up. We call that creating a Straw Man.

My complaint with you concerns your continued insistence that I have a dogmatic world view, which you must hang me from and anything I have to say must conveniently (in your mind) hang right there also, where it belongs, not someplace else ... some non-aligned world view thingy. That would disrupt the order of a meaningful universe for you, or something. When I say, I speak only for my self, you accuse me of deceit. When pressed, you decide for us both, I am simply wrong and you impose the 'Monistic Pantheist' label on me. When I object, you go off proving your accomplishment.

Awww right, so I guessed I should look this term up. I googled it. S'prise, s'prise, s'prise (not really) every site that discusses it is a Christian authority explaining these Monistic Pantheistic creatures. The kind of site that panders to religionists. BTW, where did you come by the term? Crapola is what it is and flushed is what it deserves.

"I'm not asking you to take a blood oath I just want to know where you are generally coming from."

You've got a strange way of showing it. Most people who want to know where I am coming from have asked where I've lived, what were the circumstances, who or what influenced me, how did I get a particular idea or develop a particular perspective. Well, I admit that doesn't really reveal much since my experiences are fairly everyday common folk kind of stuff. In addition, there are nut cases on SI who've sent me hate mail, so I'm not likely to provide much of that kind of personal information here.

Ultimately the best way to get to know where I am coming from is to listen to what I have to say, consider it and engage in some sort of thoughtful exchange. For some reason, that is outside the realm of possibility for you.
