Tax cuts helped fuel the debt crisis and reduced the US's growth potential.

Lower taxes allow for more borrowing by the private sector in absolute terms, but also for higher earnings and more prosperity in general. They aren't a major factor in increasing the level of leverage in general, if their even a factor at all.

The statistics don't lie. The tax cuts only helped the rich......period.

As for lack of enforcement, enforcement of regulations has almost continually increased for decades. Lack of enforcement is the standard talking point from the left, but rarely is their even an attempt to back it up, and when there is its either anecdotal (one case of lack of enforcement), or not an issue with lack of enforcement (some activity is unregulated but wasn't regulated previously, or someone manages to evade enforcement which doesn't indicate a lack of enforcement effort).

Enforcement decreased under Bush....it was all the news.
