The fact is you want this legislation passed, not because you know what it contains, but because the Democrats have worked it up in the dark out of sight of the American people and you know it is a move toward socialism. No other reason. It is ideological tripe and you LOVE it.

Actually what I want is single payer...it's the only thing that makes any sense...the rest of the world gets it...unfortunately the fractured nature of american politics makes it practically impossible to do the right thing, so we fuck around with bridgehead legislation like this to get to what we really need, in a painful and torturous process.
