"Your president had a f*cking truther in his administration." Even if true, so what? That doesn't change the fact that the Right is abuzz with literally dozens, if not hundreds of whacked out conspiracies. On the Left, you have the Truthers and that is about it. And everyone who isn't a Truther regards them as whack jobs. Not so much on the Right. Not only do y'all have a lot more of the whackos, they are given great deal of at least lip service by the Right. Correct me if I am wrong, but no Congresscritter ever came out in favor of the Truthers. Supporting the whack jobs on the Right is routine in Congress, however. To the point if a Republican points out that there are fruitcakes out there, they get shouted down. No, when it comes to embracing their inner loons, the Right pretty much owns the show.
