I have already provided the basis for why his treatment is a strawman argument. The characterizations of those people, and groups of people, he uses are not a match with how they would represent themselves, the conclusions he draws for them are not conclusions they would draw for themselves. He, therefore, has represented them by his characterisation, in a way that serves his argument but does not represent their genuine views. ... Strawman.
