I think (at least in my case) we might have some user error issues with Acronis. Using 2009 I did an image about a month ago, checked it at the time, and since reading the recent comments went to check it again and it has completely disappeared from my external drive.

I was at BB today and they have Acronis 2010 for $19.99 with message on the cover that says "compatible with Windows 7." For a few bucks is there any advantage to updating to 2010.
