There is not one thing that "Obama" can do to keep us safe.
The best he can do is get out of the way of the military, Navy, Army, Marines, Coast Gaurd, and the agencies in charge of security such as CIA, Homeland Security, the FBI, special ops. Let those named implement, design, develope and integrate their specialities while coordinating with each other.
Mr. Obama, as noted by others is nothing more than a "talking head". Unfortunately for America, Obama is not historically literate on USA and World History as evidenced by the numerous times he has failed with facts and flubbed many protocols of state.
Obama is not an Abraham Lincoln, a George Washington, a Davy Crockett, a Thomas Jefferson----------Harry Truman, Nixon, JF Kennedy, George Bush Senior who headed the CIA or a George W. Bush who was the Governor of Texas.
Obama was elected with a hollywood style hyped up campaign. Stars shine for awhile and then fade as their stars show the tarnish.
Obama did not fulfil the duties of being US Senator for Illinois----instead, he "flipped and flopped around the United States with two words------hope and change------"preying upon the heritage of the black Americans whose history he barely knew or shared as he simultaneously denied his white heritage.
