Thanks, but we have several stereo headsets already. This is to work as a voice chat device and Tyler prefers to have one ear exposed for room conversation.

I did discover on further investigation that the Sennheiser CC530 (as well as all the Sennheiser headsets) has a proprietary connector. To connect to a PC, I'll have to purchase a CEDPC1 adaptor which provides two 3.5 jacks for I/O.

Amazon has the headset for $104.63 right now, but it looks like the jack adaptor is going to run about $33 including shipping. Still, ... not to shabby.

I'm still thinking about it.

I may just get a 2.5 to 3.5 adaptor for his X-Box Live headset. That'd be less than $5.
