Exactly. On this point we agree and on this point, I think the GOP has it right and the Dems have it wrong. We are in a military war with extremist Muslims, but we are also in an ideological war with the rest of Muslims. Their religion is very warlike and backwards. It needs to be modernized to favor peace and tolerance and women's rights over what the medieval attitudes it favors today. The Muslim religion is like the Christian Old Testament. And like the Christian religion, it needs a makeover similar to what the New Testament brought to Christians. Jesus was all about love and peace and respect for women. The Muslims need a makeover in that mold.
