I am at CES Las Vegas and my GM post was PUT on GE post by mistake. Too much walking at CES, first day.

On GM, the new management might steal from the old stockholders, and left it with nothing, very risky investment. But its $0.79 on friday morning, up from 48 cents lately. The government only bought substantially all the assets, what is left is not liquidating too well. And what is left for liquidation is not known in any literature, anywhere. The US treasury did not buy all the foreign subsidiaries(stocks that old GM owned).
