Commercial mortgages 30 days delinquent at 6%? Is that all? Having been a creditor [in the oil industry] to commercial customers, that's about what I'd expect. Heck, that proportion of businesses is normally in trouble or struggling financially and looking for some loans to put off for a while.

Vulture funds looking for bust companies to swoop on will have sparse pickings if that's all that's on offer.

Perhaps 2010 will see financial catastrophe [in a general sense] but it's not happening yet, though tax revenues are taking a pounding so the government spivs and bludgers will be having to pay themselves with dilutionary/inflationary promissory notes at the expense of mugs holding the currency. Wait a minute, that's me!!

Note to self - unload the Tonka Truckload of US$ cash and load up with something of long-run value.
