I provide as much support for my opinions as you do with yours.

Seems backwards to me, especially given their constituencies. Oh wait, I forgot. The blue dogs are supposedly in the pockets of Big Insurance.

Anyway, I'll tell you why I think the "Cadillac tax" is a sham in addition to the reasons you state:

- There aren't really that many "Cadillac plans" to tax, so just taxing them won't amount to much.

- Democrats are under tremendous pressure to make this bill look "revenue neutral." Hence they have to pass hidden taxes up the wazoo.
