All I know is we closed about the same time as Dodd did and got an almost identical rate. If it was below market for Dodd, well... This is a complicated subject and unless you want to disclose the date, amount and terms of your loan, I don't think we can advance the argument. In general, a person can buy down the interest rate by paying points, and in the case of Dodd and other democrats, they were given the lower rate without having to pay the points. That is corrupt.
