There were no lies, there were mistakes. And the damage he did to our nation was immeasurable. I feel the same way about the soldiers who released the Abu Ghraib photos. They were responsible for an untold number of deaths and their actions were treason as far as I'm concerned. If something like this happened during WWII I suspect they would have been dealt with harshly by others in their platoon.
