NK, no. We won't win that war, it will be too expensive, and they are in check by South Korea. The most we can do there is try to interdict and stop the spread of their technology and arms.

With Iran, I am 100% against a war with Iran. However, I am 100% for sending in our most advanced special forces, fighter jets, drones, missiles, and bombers to blow their nuclear capabilities back to the stone age prior to them acquiring a nuclear bomb. But I would vote against a land war 100% of the time.

In fact, that pretty much goes for everything. If we have a problem with another country that impacts our national security, then we have the resources to take care of that problem from the air. The only reason for us going in by land in a big way is if we intend to pacify and nation build. I don't believe in nation building. If I had been President, we would have gone to Afghanistan with one purpose and that is to destroy Al Qaeda and then we would have left. I would have had Bin Ladin killed in Tora Bora and then I would have brought all the troops home and left Afghanistan to rot.

The message should be clear. If someone or some country attacks the US, then they won't survive the experience and they shouldn't count on us rebuilding them. End of story. But I would pull out all the stops to make sure we aren't dependent on other countries for resources like oil either.
