$1 trillion would have solved our oil problems. The reason Obama didn't spend $1 trillion in stimulus on renewable energy is that he would never have gotten the votes. The GOP still has power to delay and deny, as we've seen and the matter was urgent.

If it had been me, that's exactly what I would have done. We'd have never gone to war in Iraq and we'd have pushed for massive renewable energy stimulus, just like China is doing.
