I think those pictures didn't show anything I'd consider torture. Mistreatment, yes. But not torture.

We've allowed the word "torture" to be convoluted into something it isn't. Nothing I've seen rises to that level.

For something to be "torture", there has to be some pain involved. Allowing the word to take on this pansy meaning of embarrassment is not a good thing. Torture has a specific meaning and it has now been corrupted by the Left to mean something different.

This is typical when we allow ourselves to be bound by international law formulated in Europe.
