Speaking of Chile.....its mentioned in your wiki description.....did you know that its believed Chile will be the first South American country to be declared a developed nation instead of 3rd world.....even before Brazil. Yeah. But part of that, as explained in the book, is that Chile was one of the first countries to be destroyed by Friedmanism and has had a lot of time to recover. They actually talked about Chile becoming first world in your book? While I knew Chile had advanced economically.....hell many of the veggies and fruits we get here in the winter come from Chile.....I had no idea their economy had improved that significantly until this past week when I read some article. Pretty impressive stuff. The US better get on the ball and improve our relations with S. America. There are some important up and coming nations to which we need to get closer.
