The Internal Revenue Service is basically a giant machine devilishly designed to suck money out of California and spend it everywhere else. Paranoid delusional statement. The Golden State is far and away the largest revenue generator for the federal government, but only gets back 78 cents out of every dollar it forks over. Thats the evil rich getting hammered. I thought you lefties loved that? Too bad, but thats over for now. Next year you are going to probably see CA raking it back in. California, New York, Oregon, Connecticut and other states that depend heavily on taxing year-end bonuses and capital gains on investments have been hardest hit by the worst income tax drops since 2002 so elections offer no solutions Socialist clap trap.
