These concepts have been pushed around for ages. I'll believe that they work when I see people adopt them. Will people really walk around with phone bee-beeping all the time about all crap graffiti others (and companies) left hanging in the virtual space? Sure, you can filter based on social networks, but that does not mean the content will become much better. I see the usefulness of geo-notes left to yourself. In restaurant: "Lasagna really sucks here, but eggplant parmigiano is great", in shop: "pick up 5 this-shop-special cracker boxes next time you are there". Life changing, though? Not really.
