Now you are a Chaos Theory doubter too? That was a straw man, a MAJOR one. You are putting words in my mouth I never said. If you have a little bit more of a background besides Wiki on the history of weather prediction and useful forecasts, you may even know, that the Swedes had the algos and overlying programs ready for that long before computers were around, which had a chance to run those programs and come up with a result within less than several man years. When main frames were developed in the late 50s, which could handle such massive programs - the predecessors to applied chaos theory - Sweden and the US defense authorities initiated a long term cooperation program only because Sweden were the leaders in that area and the US had the most advanced hardware to process the problems. So, why should I as a proud Swede have any doubts here? Please stop putting sh!t in my mouth, which I never said. Your projecting and straw manning is just getting a little too much to bear, CJ.
