>> So shoot me, I got the state wrong. Brain fart.

Not a capital offense, but really -- how does one not know this while claiming credibility on the subject?

>> Just pointing out that you can't just use his Congressional record. You have to include his record in Illinois.

His voting record in IL was extreme, but it was also knee-deep in "present" votes to avoid committing himself politically. He had a 100% record from Planned Parenthood, which includes the controversial vote to deny medical care to fetuses who survived an abortion attempt.

He was the ONLY "No" vote in IL for a provision to NOT offer "good time" for sex offenders in county jail. The ONLY "NO" in an extremely liberal state.

He voted against secret ballots for unions and to allow GRADUATE ASSISTANTS (no shit) to UNIONIZE.

He voted AGAINST blocking sexual content on computers in schools for minors; he voted to allow the purchase of 10 hypodermic needles from a pharmacy without a prescription.

Really, to suggest the guy isn't and extreme liberal is just the height of ignorance.

But forget the voting record: Look what he has done since he took office. There is simply no way to argue the guy isn't an extremist liberal. The argument is just ridiculous on its face.
