Did he say something false? Yes... otherwise, why did he apologize? His comment reflects an openly racist mind set which was common fifty years ago, not today... mind you, he's the same clown that accused the Republicans of supporting slavery because they're opposed to obama's health care bill... but the reality of history clearly shows that Abraham Lincoln was a Republican and it was the liberals at the time who fought to KEEP slavery intact... this moron reid must go, he's a disgrace to all Americans...
