There is NOTHING at ALL even remotely 'political' about these simple and commonsense truths (they apply during any political season):

"The over-arching GOAL must be to craft a cohesive set of strategies that will ultimately prove EFFECTIVE at securing a strategic win for America and for American values and goals. Anything that detracts from strategic effectiveness is handing advantages to the enemy."
