EC/LLCF - govs will buy to fix their balance sheets, but think you get a lot of volatility in daily trading. Don't understand the ups and downs on a daily bases: quick up and down $25-50.00 in short time - why. You would think you would not get that volatility. Leads one to question stability. Seems more like a trading vehicle than currency. Very concentrated in hands of few so how do you get the stability that allows it to represent money and not speculation? It has to prove it has the stability to be currency in the modern era. In Elizabethan era gold inflated due to too much supply from New World. My point is has to show me more than what it is showing for me to stake my future on it as currency. Maybe shortage of new mines will drive gold up to me that is best hope for gold. When and how, I have no idea.
