Of course you do. If you think it is used to explain random events, then you obviously don't understand it at all. Random data cannot be modeled with Chaos Theory, to think it does shows a distinct lack of understanding.

But, that is ok. There seem to be many things you don't understand and hence regard it as bullshit.

Abnormally cold and warm spots are exactly what you expect when a chaotic system, like weather, shifts from one strange attractor to another. It isn't scrambling, but one of the predicted events. Despite your personal views on the matter.
