Not exactly. Like your Puget Sound example, you are putting up another straw man.

In addition, you are conflating two different concepts here. Weather and climate are not the same thing. CT is not an appropriate model for climate. Climate for the most part isn't chaotic. However, weather is. And hence, a perfect candidate for CT.

I can't help it if you are confused. Let me try to explain. The hypothesis is that the climate is changing. That influences a chaotic system, the weather. Enough change, and a chaotic system, as modeled by CT, will eventually shift from one strange attractor to another. Typically what happens is that the chaotic system will start hitting extremes until the new strange attractor falls into range, and then it will settle at the new strange attractor. It really isn't all that complicated or insidious.

Projecting, again i-node. This is precisely what you do. I don't expect people to just agree. Which is why I provide links and keywords so others can check up on me.
