very good price for the property and sold to the guy who drilled it before. no comment on that. unusual to get cash up front in this type of deal. speaks to superior management at EC imo. that property needs a lot of drilling (ie: some step out drilling) to determine its economic feasibility and now we don't have to spend the cash to do it. On the other hand the guy who bought it can probably use it to take his group public and then he is back in the game. Not as if the venture exchange is not made up of about 90% re tread plays. great irony, but i'd rather have the cash than his plan.
