While the GOP and Obama is worried about Afghanistan, the real action is happening over in China. We are so distracted by all these wars, I think it is almost inevitable that we will be in a long term decline. Stop for a second and imagine a world where the Communist Chinese Government holds most of the cards in world affairs due to their economy and military being the largest and most powerful in the world. Imagine a Communist China being the worlds largest superpower. That scenario is 20 years away and at this point, it seems almost inevitable. These distractions from the real challenges and priorities the US faces are killing our 1st class status and it's killing our future. We're going to be in a world of hurt economically, and thus, militarily if we don't change direction fast. U.S., Google and China square off over Internet reuters.com
