WellPoint's analysis will more closely reflect the coming insurance reality than the fruits of Mr. Gruber's government paycheck.

Would be interesting to find out what are per capita costs of Medicaid. I bet they are not much cheaper than buying commercial insurance, even though "caid" pays way below par.

They claim that Medicare is run with a tiny 4-5% overhead. My understanding is that they only consider costs down to the point when they hand over funds to local commercial "carriers". Unfortunately, that is the point when various open and hidden costs only BEGIN to accrue.

Government promises to save costs while preserving quality and improving access? LOL! If you believe that, there is a nice bridge I can sell you.
