"There is plenty of evidence that God, and specifically the God of the bible exists"

There is not one iota of evidence. Every people have invented supernatural beings to explain everything they could not explain otherwise. In every instance the stories are colorful and fabulous and COMPLETELY INVENTED. The Epic of Gilgamesh for instance was written long before any biblical "characters" (such as Samson who caught the thousand foxes!)--and Gilgamesh is almost word for word with the flood story in Genesis...HMMMM!! :-)

"As far as premises go they have no extension in space now do they"

I really don't know too much about that. I know that they have proven to be useful tools and that they are evidenced by their predictability in defining reality. The reality of incomplete knowledge provides no good rationale for imagining a supernatural world to explain it. That is what primitive people did and that is what you wish to do. Making up a definition for a "Supreme Being" and peopling that world with demons, angels, Jinns , other supernatural beings (and throwing in a minotaur and Hermes and a coyote or two) does not repair ignorance...it simply expands it.

"Atheism can give no satisfactory explanation for the existence of transcendent ethics"

Atheism doesn't give explanations for anything--LOL!! The only tenet of atheism is that there is no evidence for a God. But you have aroused my curiosity. What do you mean by "transcendent ethics"?? Do you mean ethics beyond Puff and Spot??
